Women’s Basketball

The Golden Bears Women’s Basketball team had another successful season in 2006-07, winning the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season and tournament championships for the first time in the same season.

They finished the season 22-10 overall and 15-3 in the NSIC, turning in the team’s sixth consecutive season with 20-plus wins. The team’s NSIC success put them in the NCAA Tournament for the fifth consecutive year, where they progressed to their fourth straight appearance in the NCAA regional semifinal.

Head coach Paul Fessler topped 150 career wins at Concordia (150-65, 7 seasons) and was named NSIC Coach of the Year.
