Clyde G.Bentley (’58) and his wife, Sandra, celebrated the birth of their new grandson, Connor Garrett Bentley, on Sept. 24, 2006, along with his parents, Anna and Chris Bentley, who reside in Ironwood, Mich. Clyde and Sandra live in Sarasota, Fla.

James (’88) and Teresa (Johnson ’87) Reinholdt celebrated the birth of their grandson, James William Reinholdt, born Jan. 3, 2007, along with his parents William Reinholdt and April Reisewitcz of Litchfield, Minn.

David and Amy (VandeVoort ’94) Schweim welcomed Jayson Allen Schweim into their family on July 12, 2006. He joins big brother,Casey (6), who started kindergarten
this fall. Amy continues to love her job serving as director of children’s ministries at Immanuel
Lutheran Church in Puyallup, Wash.

Solomon and Mary (Langemo ’93) Hughes were blessed with a beautiful son, Solomon “Chaz” Hughes III, born Oct. 21, 2006. Mary, Soli, Chaz, and their dog, Windsor, currently reside in Minneapolis, Minn.

Rev. Jacob (’96) and Michelle (Hausz ’00) Gillard thank God for their second child, Evangeline, born September 2006.The family lives in Minneapolis, Minn., where Jacob is pastor at Trinity First Lutheran Church.

Rev. John Otte (’96) and his wife, Jill, celebrated the adoption of a baby boy, Isaiah Xion Otte, on Dec. 28, 2006. He was born Aug. 25, 2006.

Rev. Josh (’97) and Kelli (Strehlo ’97) Schunk celebrated the birth of their second child Caleb Erwald Schunk on Nov. 2, 2006. He joins Ella, his two-year-old sister.

Dr. Cynthia (Davis ’98) and Dr. Brian Opp celebrated the birth of their daughter Haellie Rae Opp on June 17, 2006.The family currently resides in St. Francis,Minn.

Rev. Tom and Amy (Schaffer ’99) Gundermann rejoiced at the birth of Eva Joy on June 12, 2006. She is welcomed by her sister, Kayla (5) and brother, Noah (3).

Rozalyn (Steinacker ’99) Zuest and husband, Dayne, along with big brother Noah Parker, welcomed Evelyn Payton to the family on June 29, 2006.

Stephen Bauer (’00) and Megan Finlan welcomed their first son, Gaberian Jaystan, on July 1, 2006. The family lies in Bellevue, Neb.

Jessica (Vail ’00) Sauer and Paul Sauer announce the adoption of Rosie Lynn into their family Nov.1, 2006. Rosie was born June 4, 2006, in Majuro, Marshall Islands. She joins older sister Katharine Elizabeth born Oct. 23, 2003, from Ebeye, Marshall Islands.

Rev. Jason (’00) and Julie (Jenson ’00) Wagner celebrated the birth of Abigail Patricia Wagner on Dec. 26, 2003. Abigail is now a big sister to Hannah Joan, born June 26, 2006.

Shane Eggerstedt (’01) and his wife, Tovy, welcomed their daughter, Fayth Lucia, on May 24, 2006. Fayth joins her brother, Ethan (8).

John (’01) and Katrina (Guidera) Hannemann welcomed their first child, Cooper Zane Micah Hannemann, into the world on April 23, 2006. He was born in Laguna Beach, Calif. The family recently moved back to Minnesota from California and have launched a new photography
studio, Studio Laguna, in St. Louis Park, Minn. John is teaching at Normandale Elementary School in Edina, Minn., and Katrina is staying home with Cooper, and working as a hostess at a condo
complex.

Brett (’03) and Carrie (Opperman ‘01) Hartwig welcomed Megan Joyce to their
family on Nov. 20, 2006. Carrie and Brett continue to teach at Baton Rouge Lutheran School.

Michael (’02) and Sarah (Riesgraf ‘02) Sprengeler welcomed their daughter, Julia Annie Ruth, into their lives on April 24, 2006. Michael is going to school to be a pharmacist, and Sarah is in school to be a physician.

Heather (Sandberg ‘02) and Daniel Thrasher (’02) celebrated the birth of their first child, Jackson David Thrasher, born in November 2006.

Kristy (Abel ‘06) and Michael Grannis (’06) rejoiced in the birth of their son, Michaiah [pronounced mi-KA-ya] Even Emmanuel Grannis born Nov.18, 2006.
