Billy Schultz Elected Student Body President

Rising Senior Billy Schultz from Carol Stream, Ill., has been elected Student Body President for the 2007-08 academic year.

A Confessional Lutheranism major working on a self-designed program in Parish Leadership, Billy plans to attend Concordia Seminary, St. Louis after graduation.

“It is really about service,” Schultz said about his reasons for seeking the post. “I want to represent everyone fairly and make sure those elected are not just serving their own interests.”

Billy’s Concordia experience provides him solid preparation for seminary and a well-rounded perspective on life.

“Concordia helps me understand that there is more to life than just going to class, homework, and hanging out with friends,” Billy said. “I can see the big picture.”
