Dalin Lappe (’00) has been named vice president of Operations and minority owner for McHire Inc., which took over the company formerly known as Evenium, Inc.
Chris Bollig (’01) received his doctorate in Psychology in October 2006 from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
Timothy J.Garrels (’02) married Tara Suzanne Tatro on Sept. 2, 2006, at Ascension Lutheran in Wichita, Kan. Tim and Tara now live in Park City, outside of Wichita,
and eagerly await Tim’s completion of his English teaching degree.
Lisa Jensen (’02) is working as a corporate training specialist with Dean Health Plan in Madison,Wis. She is responsible for the new employee training program, which consists of 12 different training classes, and also teaches nine other optional classes, such as medical and insurance terminology, business etiquette and various computer applications.
Marcie Matson (’03) and Ryan Gargano were married June 24, 2006, at First Baptist Church in Detroit Lakes, Minn. Marcie teaches K-1 Title I at Pershing Elementary in Rawlins, Wyo. and Ryan teaches fourth grade.
Ryan Russek (’03) married Kristan Wise on Sept. 9, 2006, at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minn. They live in New Brighton, Minn. Ryan is a trainer for Best Buy Corporation in Richfield, and Kristen is a physical therapist for Park Nicollet Health Services in Eden Prairie.
Jamie Borne (’05) and Travis Kaelberer, high school sweethearts who have been together for more than seven years,were recently united in marriage and look
forward to spending the rest of their lives together.
Lyndsey Gagas (’05) was elected to the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Student Assembly Board of Directors as the National Student Delegate for the 2006-2007 school year. Lyndsey attended five national APTA meetings around the U.S.
and addressed the APTA Board of Directors in Washington,D.C., on behalf of all physical therapy
students in the country. Lyndsey is currently working toward her Ph.D. at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Karen Davis Platt (’06) began a new position in January 2007 as the accreditation coordinator for the National Association for the Education of Young Children
(NAEYC) headquartered in Washington,D.C.
