Library Creates Paul Manz Collection

Concordia University now has an outstanding collection of music, manuscripts and miscellany from the legendary composer and organist Dr. Paul Manz.

He has trained and inspired church musicians for more than two decades, including as a CSP professor (1957-1976).

Manz’s donation to Concordia includes his music scores and manuscripts, recordings of his music, concert programs, his private music library and his personal papers.

“Paul Manz’s willingness to make his manuscripts available to music scholars will be appreciated for generations to come,” said Concordia head librarian Dr.Charlotte Knoche.
