Concordia Music Department Chair Dr. David Mennicke was one of seven guest conductors who helped the prestigious National Lutheran Choir to commemorate its 20th anniversary at a celebratory concert held April 28, 2006 at Wayzata Community Church for a standing-room-only crowd.

Directors from seven Lutheran colleges and universities served as guest conductors for the impressive choral ensemble.

Twin Cities-based National Lutheran Choir, under the direction of Dr. David Cherwein, continues to strengthen and preserve the Lutheran heritage of choral music to the highest standards.

The choir has released 19 CDs of sacred choral music and has toured regionally and internationally.
